Was this reply helpful? Yes No. Sorry this didn't help. This is kinda' weird, I've done this procedure several times with previous versions of Windows and all of them went flawlessly, I can't figure out what's going on. Enter Control Panel. I click on Add a Language, There's the langauage I want.

I click on Options then I see "Download and Install Language Pack" Pic03 I click on that, and something's downloading Pic04 but when it finishes downloading I get this error message Pic05 and I'm stuck there without being able to change my display language. I hope you can take a look at this and recommend a way to do it. I can try to install it manually, but I'm not sure on where to get the LIPs. If you could provide a download link I could try doing it.

This issue might have caused due to third party apps or any of the third party antivirus installed. Method 1: I suggest you to run a update troubleshooter which helps you. Refer: Windows update troubleshooter.

Check if the issue resolves performing a clean boot. The Microsoft Store will also reflect local options. Click Region. Select a country or region from the drop-down menu at the top. Click Change date formats in the Regional format section to choose a calendar type and a date and time format.

After you change the regional format, the Settings app will switch to the associated language. In this example, it's Brazilian Portuguese, so it says Change data formats.

Go to the Administrative tab and click Change system locale under Language for non-Unicode programs. Select a language from the drop-down menu and click OK. Click Cancel. Click Copy settings. Also, if you are changing the language settings because you are in a different location, you may also need to adjust the region settings.

Once you complete the steps, the laptop or desktop computer will display the correct region settings. Although users rarely need to adjust or add more languages to Windows 11, these settings can come in handy to match the local settings if you are in a different region of the globe or when getting a computer comes with different settings.
